Rock of Cashel

We drove aimlessly, until we saw an amazing castle in the distance, looking a bit like the pinnacle of Mount St. Michel in France. It was the Rock of Cashel, and we decided to take it in. The tour was fun, though without a roof on the ruin, we had to do part of it with umbrellas up. By the afternoon, the sun returned, and McKinley and Anika decided to busk in front of the castle. It was the perfect setting.

That night we stayed in our original campground we’d reserved – set in an apple orchard. They even gave us a bottle of cider on check-in.
